All Alone...

It was another long day. Nausicaa was off with Odysseus and left me and the rest of the maidens to care for her belongings. And can you believe it, she wants me to go find her someone to teach her how to play the ukelele! I have no idea where to find someone like that. If any of you who are reading this know, would you please tell me? I still don't understand why she wants to learn, I guess she is bored with just knitting all day, even though she is making a pretty awesome toga...

Nausicaa

In case you wanted to know more about Nausicaa, her blog is nausicaasisland.blogspot.com. You should check it out, it is really cool!

Meeting Odysseus

Today, Nausicaa took us down to the stream. She had us wash all her clothes so that she would not need to when she took a husband. While we were waiting for her tunics to dry, we danced around and played with a ball we had brought. Nausicaa threw the ball to Isea. She missed and the ball fell into the water. The soft current gently carried it to a mound of shrubs lodged in the water, and as I went to fetch it I heard loud shrieks from behind me. I turned around to see a man, clothed in only leaves, standing a few feet away from Nausicaa. I was too far away to hear much, but I saw her motion for the maidens to bring him some food and drink. When the maidens left, Nausicaa whispered something to the stranger, and I am curious to find out what.
